The travellers that were removed from the opposite side of Ashwell Road have now settled in the lay-by on the opposite side of the road I have walked up here over Tambourine Bridge and round the public footpaths regularly for several years, but I now feel threatened as a single female. There are generally three men and a large dog with the vehicles, also a “sofa” and general mess in the lay-by.. Usually there is a smelly fire burning also. None of the travellers are threatening but it is very intimidating walking up there now by yourself. On a separate issue, where are these men going to the toilet..? This in itself is a health hazard for anybody passing by to walk
