  • Road closed outside of my house, 19th September
    19 September 2025
The road has been blocked off since around the 15th of August. No notification has been provided or any Indication of when this will be resolved. Likely to have been closed due to a damaged wall alongside the church. It would be good to know who is responsible and what the plan is. Cannot seen to find anyone that knows. Surely it cannot just be left.

  • Aggressive dog attack, 5th September
    05 September 2025
I was running on the public footpath which goes towards Ranksborough Hill, Langham. There is a lurcher dog which jumped over the fence at the entrance to Mick Appleby Racing Stables. It ran towards me and attempt to bite me in the waist. This is a repeat incident and I have experienced the dog running and barking towards me before, however there has never been a previous bite attempt before. Although the racing stables have fenced off the perimeter to separate the public footpath, the dog managed to easily jump over the fence and come towards me barking aggressively. I felt very intimated and makes me reluctant to use the footpath in the future. In order to feel safe when using the public footpath I would like to dog to be kept under control at all times.
