Policy BD3a : Water Quality & Management
Before Planning Permission is considered, developers must:
1. demonstrate that they have adequately provided for;
- a. the management of ground water through use of SuDS techniques and
- b. the management of foul water;
2. demonstrate how they have created additional biodiversity benefits in these provisions.
Extensions or improvements to existing properties must be seen to have addressed the issue of ground water and foul water, as well as using surface materials that are porous, such as gravel and block paving, but not tarmac.
